Job Description Lead the design and development of optical surfaces and systems for Intraocular lenses(IOL).
Specific Job Duties:
1.Design and develop optics for the correction of aphakia, refractive errors and presbyopia
2.Use Optical Simulation software to asses optical performance
3.Evaluate new technologies to enhance optic development for IOLs
Qualifications Education: BS/MS in Engineering discipline; preferably Optics or Physics
Experience: At least 5- years in opto-mechanical development, preferable in IOL design. Minimum 2 years as a project team member or leader in medical device development.
Special Skills: Efficient in using Optical design and simulation software to assess functional performance of optical surfaces and systems. Firm knowledge of optical measurement systems,i.e., aberrometers,wavefront sensors, focometers. Strong technical writing skills.
