Job Description Conceive, develop and implement robust mechanical and optical measurement technologies for IOLs and Insertion systems. Generate reports for global registration of Ophthalmic products.
Specific Job Duties:
1.Manage the Test labs and Surgical Suite
2.Interface with internal customers and vendors to develop requirements for testing
3.Supervise the performance of mechanical, optical and in-vitro simulation studies
4.Develop and implement test procedures and protocols
5.Issue test reports for global registration
Qualifications Education: BS/MS in Plastics/Mechanical/Biomedical Engineering
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in bio-medical research and development, medical device design and development, preferably in the IOL industry.
Skills: Proven experience in test systems based on Optical and mechanical components; Experience in CMM, Video inspection and none-contact measurement systems; Good trouble shooting skills; proficient in applied statistics
